[Completely fresh] Choices on the first internship for breaking into IB

Hi, I am a sophomore, completely fresh to WSO as well as IB.

By the end of last year, I made up my mind to choose a career path rather than grad school upon graduation. This has been a struggling for me. And I am fully aware that this decision means forgetting my achievement in terms of GPA, ECA, and gain exposure to working-environment from scratch.

Lately, I am applying for my first summer internship. Well, the first intern will definitely not be directly relevant to IB, but I hope to get the most out of it and prep for path to IB. On one hand, I have some opportunities to the Big4 Accounting & Consulting firms, and do some shifting. On the other hand, some intern programs (i.e. Energy sectors )provide positions in corporate finance team are available, which require us to apply Finance knowledge, modelling, data analysis.

I am wondering if you can give me some advice on the choice of first intern and how to make the most out of it. Thanks!
