Cornell Dyson student here. Dyson vs ILR doesn't mean shit. The only Dyson course you take before IB recruitment that helps is financial accounting and that stuff isnt that hard to learn on your own. Have many friends not in Dyson that have great placements and friends in Dyson that dont. It all depends on how much effort you put into recruitment + luck 

 

Hugest cap I have ever fucking read. In terms of recruiting, each school at Cornell is on an equal playing field. In terms of networking for IB, Dyson may have a slight edge over the others, just because Dyson graduates prefer to go into IB more. Hotel IB placement is inflated because a lot of them go into RE IB. ILR has an ok pipeline. However, the overall recruiting experience from each school should be pretty similar as long as you have a 4.0 and in finance clubs.Edit: Couple of kids received GS TMT this year; they were not in Dyson if that helps.
