Corp Dev divestiture?

I’ve been in a corp dev role for about half a year now and the role was sold to me as a hybrid between corp dev m&a and fp&a. So far we have not found a deal worth closing in these 6 months but we are about to sell off a segment of our business as we transition. Does this count as “transaction experience” I can put in my resume?

I know I should give it time since its only 6 mo in but if my long term goal is to switch to a more bonafide Corpdev m&a role, am I screwed unless we close a deal? All else I have on my resume is under 1y of banking experience in which we closed one deal.
