Corporate Banking vs Commercial Banking "Tiers"

Hi everyone,

I'm in the NYC area and wanted some insight from the users in Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking about the "tiers" of banks. My understanding is that the difference between Corp vs Commercial is client size, but I've noticed there can be overlap for some banks doing Corp Banking/IBD, and for some banks I can't seem to find a corporate banking division at all.

Can anyone point out the best "tiers" of banks to join for a corporate banking career? And can anyone point out the best "tiers" of commercial banks to work for?

Any insight is much appreciated.
