Corporate Development HeadHunters

Hey all,

This is a quick question to any former IB analysts that now work in Corporate Development. Is there a particular headhunter that is considered to be the best headhunter for Corporate Development roles? Did you mostly go through a headhunter when looking for these roles? If not, what search method did you find most useful?

I am currently a first-year at a decently known boutique in New York and I am mostly interested in pursuing corporate development roles. I know the recruiting process for CorpDev is generally not until later, just want to get a jump on it and curious which, if any, headhunters that I should be meeting with.

Thanks for any help!

I am not aware of prominent Headhunters for CD roles.

I used LinkedIn and Indeed.com to find the CD roles that I landed, which makes sense if you think about. These firms can usually post the role to these websites and then filter through the resumes that come through.

To be honest, the recruiting process for CD is more variable than PE and IB recruiting. Roles randomly appear (which is why you should set up a job alert on both of those sites).
