Crafting a “story” for ib tell me about yourself question
I’ve been trying to edit my “story” for ib interview behaviorals and am struggling a bit in thinking of something to help me stand out/ check the boxes for a tell me about yourself question that’s asked in every interview process. Been following the headline, background, spark, development, why ib and why this bank for a structured sub 2 minute response.
Can some people drop some examples of what story they use to answer this question.
One I’ve heard in the past was for an industrials banker was that they grew up in Pittsburgh and came from a background with strong familiarity with industrial companies and their cities history led them to want to pursue that coverage group.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I feel like I’m just a normal guy from the suburbs who has always had an interest in learning about what makes businesses successful, but that answer is basic and cliche.
