CRAZY early recruiting timelines
As many of you may know, the recruiting process is getting earlier and earlier, with many banks recruiting sophomores (class of 2020) for summer 2019 internships now, almost a year and a half before the internship.
We all know people who targeted investment banking ever since they went to a target middle school (haha), and others who didn't get into IB until they spent years in engineering, middle office roles, etc.
When in your life did you decide? What was the primary factor? Where were you as a sophomore in college?
