Credit Issuance/Research Resume Review

Hello all, am a third year analyst at a non-BB (DB, WF, Japanese banks)  in NYC doing Credit issuance (Term Loans, Revolvers, Bridge Loans, etc and maintenance of those issuances). Did not get Associate promotion and want to move to something else.

Is P.E even possible with my background/experiences (Mostly do Cash Flow based modelling and updating repayment models/updating leverage ratios/covenants)? What roles should I be aiming for?

This is what I have on my resume plus significant deal experience. Not disclosing deal experience but it is mostly all M&A, spinoff, and bond re-fi/redemption transactions. Have some interesting experience like issuing a revolver to refi bonds but in a different currency immiediately followed by a swap to hedge the currency risk.

• Assist in the pitching, negotiation, underwriting, closing, and syndication of new or existing Revolving Credit Facilities, Term and Bridge Loans, and other credit facilities

• Analyze industry and financial trends to spread, model, and monitor strength of Cash Flow generation, EBITDA, Enterprise Value, liquidity, and credit ratios/metrics to assess the impact of credit and M&A events on debt paying ability and capital structure

• Develop and maintain company/obligor repayment models and reports by tracking earnings and credit ratings, research reports, conducting relative and fundamental valuation across capital structure and CDS, and stress testing asset values to assess liquidity
