Based on the most helpful WSO content, it appears that both CS and UBS have been experiencing layoffs. In July 2023, there were reports of layoffs happening on the 11 Madison NYC floor (S&T) at CS. This was rumored to be the first, but largest round before the full UBS integration.
On the other hand, there were also reports of UBS layoffs in April 2023. However, the details about the size, department, and seniority of the layoffs were not specified.
Furthermore, it was mentioned that UBS is planning to cut up to 36,000 jobs from the newly combined firm. It was speculated that the vast majority of these layoffs would be on the CS side, but it could also be an opportunity to cut lower performers at UBS and replace them with top half performers from CS.

lot of rumors. apparently might be this week, but heard some rumors it might be pushed to March
no one really knows in my opinion. I go to work everyday under the assumption they could fire half the floor any day (make life more exciting)
