Try to wake up at 8, get up at 8:30

Sign on at 8:45-9 and use the Nespresso to make a latte

Do random work I didn’t do the night before or calls etc from 9-3 usually get staffed or slow from 3-5 (I skip lunch) and just so random projects like make my Uber account or setup the pro Adobe, etc

from 5-2 is usually just comments for a live deal or working on a pitch an md wants to keep changing.

Random day:

9am-10:30am: diligence calls for sell side 1

10:30am: internal sync for bakeoff

11am: catch up on a podcast or check in with an analyst in another group, bs for a bit, then back to work

11:30am: work on CIP for sell side 2

2pm: lunch

2:30pm: work on bakeoff deck with first year ANL

6pm: cook / eat dinner

7pm: work on model for sell side 1

8pm: work on cip for sell side 2

8:30pm: work on bakeoff deck

11:30pm watch some netflix

12:30am: turn bakeoff comments

5am: go to bed

8am: wake up and and do it all over again

Not every day is like this (this was a particularly awful one), but COVID has made this job a lot harder than it normally would be. MD's don't have to worry about printing books, so they expect us to always prioritize their ask / turn comments up until and sometimes during the meeting. Morale is down across my group.
