DB - LDCM Analytics Team - Thoughts

Hey monkeys, particularly those at Deutsche

Any thoughts on the DB LDCM Analytics team given the mindset of progressing one's career towards private credit. See elements from an analyst job post for the team:

- You will analyze financial performance of portfolio of highly leveraged companies with the goal of attaining in depth credit knowledge
- Prepare complex financial models developed to project future credit performance and identify asset valuation
- You will work closely with leveraged finance and investment banking coverage to prepare detailed models and credit memoranda to gain approval for leverage buyouts, mergers & acquisitions, and refinancing transactions
- Spread quarterly financial results of clients and update ongoing credit analysis
- Assess individual company future adherence to credit agreement terms
- Develop knowledge of relevant credit agreements

It looks like you'll be developing solid financial modeling, credit agreement knowledge, and transaction experience (maybe) in the credit space. All of the responsibilities look highly transferable to private credit. However, it doesn't look like you have much transaction experience except for helping the LevFin bankers get the deal past a Capital Committee / Credit Risk  (again, very useful skill in Private Credit).

Does anybody have good visibility on this? Is it really not as sxy as I'm thinking it would be?

Thanks
