DB response to GS survey and WFH culture
Our global head spoke on the GS survey, he just brushed it off saying it's important we focus on clients and not compromise quality but is "aware of the ongoing issue" WTF??
Meanwhile:
- Analysts working 100+ hours
- No meal stipend since covid
- Analysts/Associates leaving on a weekly basis
Can a bank even have a worse response?? I see guys at UBS complaining but be grateful you even get a meal stipend - I know analysts that spend $10-15 every night on meals as they simply don't have enough time to even prepare food.
Considering DB is a prime takeover target for all the banks (including UBS), Im not suprised they are willing to drive you guys to the bone.
Good news is the lateral market is red hot and you should be able to easily fast track a move into a better BB. Bad news is you will still work 100 hr weeks there and hate your life.

having said that the bank as a whole is absolute dogshit i agree (im at db lol), penny-pinches its juniors every chance it gets
I think he meant the US business. DB has been wanting to get rid of the US business and focus on Europe / Asia for a long time. Even if UBS wanted to, I doubt they would be able to pull of taking over the whole bank.

Just let Bank of America take them over. At the end of the day, it's practically in the German DNA to lose to the USA. They can resist but eventually they'll let it happen.
