Hey WSO I was recently let go and this is my first time looking for a job since undergrad. On my resume for deal experience how do banks and recruiters do background checks or verify these? I was let go so suddenly that I didn't get to take anything with me. Thank you
They will verify it by grilling the shit out of you on the deal specifics and the rationale behind the transaction. try to remember growth rates, EBITDA/transaction multiples, the story behind it, why x company wanted to sell or why they wanted to raise capital and the story behind it.
