Debt Accumulation During College
Was talking with my friends about how much debt we collected during college. I'm in ~50k debt, one friend was ~30k and another was ~15k.
For me, ~15k is in private student loans and the rest are government loans. The government loans I'm not to worried about, but hopefully I can knock down the private ones quick. That got me thinking about everyone else.
How much debt did you get into during college and how long did it take to pay everything off?
Just graduated, have 21.5k, all federal loans w an average interest rate of ~ 3.8%. Could pay off in lump sum when the sign on bonus hits, but will probably stretch payments out as far as possible given how low my interest rate is
