This resonated w/ me because in a normal workplace this is one of those things that's just a mistake and no biggie but there's an off chance the analyst will take it personally.
(1) Meeting going over being the reason is 1000% fair reason to miss coffee chat. Just be honest and say "the meeting went over and I forgot to check the time".
(2) Just genuinely apologize and ask to reschedule.
If it was me and/or 80% of the people I work with, those two things combined would make this a "no big deal".
