You're not going to hear from many women on here lol. I'm a dude myself.

That being said, anecdotally from many female friends of mine in finance...you're gonna have to give in and just try the apps. It's going to be your easiest way to meet people and as a woman you set the tenor of dating anyway so it can all happen on your schedule.

You can start dating whenever lol.

Every single one of them who are now married ended up finding their current spouse on the apps. They didn't hate their experience on them, just have to avoid for weirdos (which is easy to do as a woman on them).

No worries. One anecdote that might give you particular hope lol...

One friend, who is 34 now, met her now spouse during her 2nd year in IBD off of Tinder, back in 2014. I think said friend is attractive (i've yearned for her) but (no homo lol) her husband is solidly more attractive than her. Like she was able to "date up." He does decently financially but she's definitely the breadwinner (I'd say their compensation split is like 75/25 her/him).

Others who come to mind all met their current spouses between 2016-2021 on the apps. All are roughly my age (I'm 32), so they all started on this in their 20s.

It gets harder the older you get. My female friends who passed 30 still single are still single and I legit just don't think they'll ever get married. People get further stuck in their ways the older they get.
