Did I get the job?
Hey guys,
I had an interview at a MM bank in New York this past week for FT. I think the interviews went well, both on the factors of fit and technical.
I sent e-mails to all the people I met with thanking them for their time and expressing my interest. I received an e-mail response from one of the MD's just saying "it was nice to meet you as well."
Fast Forward- I received and e-mail from HR today (Monday) saying that I can expect a call in the next few days from an MD to discuss the next steps in the process. What do you think this means?

"Next steps" = they probably already are getting their offer together for you.
This is a middle-market firm. There is no final round- the MD can do whatever the heck he wants. Heck I interviewed at a BB and had three "final rounds".
I appreciate the insight, anyway. Hopefully hearing sometime today or tomorrow in whatever direction.
