I had a first round at a top MM yesterday and I think I goofed up. Did I? Some background: a target for this firm, but there was a mix up with the OCR site so I sent an email asking if they were going to do first rounds soon and sent my resume with the email. They replied quickly and set up an interview for an hour later. Because it was so soon, I did not have time to prepare. I answered the techs fine, but they asked me regarding their deals and did not have any to mention (mentioned one in the industry but wasn't them). Do you think that is an auto-ding given the 1-hour heads up I had?

Career Resources
Largely depends on the interviewer. Whenever you are in contact with any bank, always be prepared. I was dinged from an awesome group at a BB because I could not speak on information readily available online. Learn from this and kill the next interview.
