Do I have a chance of breaking into BB IB from a semi-target if I have no previous IB internships?
I want to hear everyone's honest thoughts. I'm a rising junior at a semi-target in the Midwest (real semi-target like NU/ND/WashU, not IU) completing an F100 corporate finance internship this summer. I have a 3.86 GPA in Econ (we don't have an undergrad finance program) but I'm not in my university's investment banking club because I just recently found interest in IB. I was wondering if there was any way I'd have a shot at breaking in and possibly landing a role as a 2021 IB SA at a BB or MM.
