Do People in High Positions Ever Read WSO?
Might be a dumb question, but do fund managers, MDs at a bank, and people high on the hierarchy ever go on WSO just to see what interns, analysts, etc. are talking about?

If you made 1 million+ per year, would you?
Lol, I guess it depends. There's some pretty good stuff on here (bad stuff too of course) and $1 million doesn't disqualify you from learning a bit more/reading what younger people in the industry are saying, so idk. I see your point though.
That username though.
The question should be - if you were 40, would you post sarcastic comments and argue with college kids about prestige (GS vs MS vs JPM vs whoever) or spend time trying to convince your wife to come back after all the all-nighters you pulled trying to become the MD / fund manager etc
That's honestly a 50/50 choice
I'll do $1M this year and still post here. I like the perspective I can get from people on this forum. Then again I'm a huge fan of forums and one of my first companies was an online community too sooooo
That's crazy. Do you drive a nice sports car? Are you living in a nice appt overlooking Central Park? As a first year IB analyst what do I need to do to get to your shoes?
No I don't really spend my money because that doesn't make me happy. I use it to do more deals. Pretty sure you need to be making way more to afford a nice apt overlooking Central Park anyways.
its addictive...just like any other social network...
Few very senior folks on here that post from time to time.

Yea I think it's becoming more and more common as the generations using technology ages. Plus I'm sure there are some on this forum and reddit as well based on some of the conversations I've read.
Just think Drake was playing Fortnite, a free video game, with a live streamer. Rich people do regular people things.
As far as forums and social media, I would imagine they would prefer a level of anonymity. I bet some of those Facebook pages and Twitters with random default pictures and private pages are probably famous people just covering up.
