Just wondering what will happen with summer internships this year. As the days go on and the government continues to extend the stay at home orders, I am getting really worried about my summer internship. It starts June 1st. Do you think we would go virtual? Any ideas?

BAML has confirmed that they will keep interns on and are giving them the same pay. It would make the most sense for BBs and even EBs and MMs to follow.
Did they say virtual or not?
No, but personally, I don’t really give af. They confirmed the important stuff (1) that we have a job and (2) that we are getting paid the same.
It was a very firmly worded too. There was no "probably"s or "barring unforeseen circumstances"s or "we’ll monitor the situation"s.

Edit: with $3.5k for 2 weeks of pay and full-time offers, but yes, obviously there is a chance that internships get cancelled.
