Does it get any better?

longtime lucker and really wanted an opinion. I recently wrapped up my summer in IB and very confused with where I want to go from here.

Over the summer, I feel like I've done 0 actual thinking. the VP says something and we just find numbers to back up his thesis. I've gotten a 'plz fix' cause the data from a reputable source slightly disproved the theory and had to take numbers from strange outlets to make the investment thesis work

I've formatted so many charts, looked for obscure statistics in the random hours in the morning, slapped together some decks that none of the juniors 100% agreed with (not saying we'd know better than the VP, but literally its a zoom call where the VP goes "the numbers should look like xz, got it?" but its the junior team who spent the week on research and the numbers arent like that), and put my life on hold when the MD asked a question and absoloute pandemonium ensued

I definitely drank the IB kool-aid and now, I honesty have no idea where to go from here. I acknowledge that I'm making this decision from a super privileged position. but I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into cause honestly this might be the most opportune time to get tf out of here
