Hi everyone on WSO. I'm an incoming SA in ECM group at a low tier BB, want to eventually go into buyside. Does being in ECM help with trying to exit into hedge funds given the relevance of work? If not, what exit opps are there for ECM? Or am I just fucked

what are exit ops like for the capital solutions/advisory teams at EBs like lazard or moelis?
Buy-side IR might be a good starting point. At junior levels though, it’s more common to move to Coverage and then make the jump. ECM is still a good spot, you are not fked.
