economics club?

Is putting economics club on a resume a good idea? I've been to a bunch a meetings at my school but I can't help but feel like a tool when I think about putting it on my resume. What do you guys think? I know its a fine line between sounding ambitious and sounding lame

Feel like a tool?

Brother you are entering the world of finance & economics. If you aren't totally dedicated to educating yourself in this profession then you're not going to make it. No one is going to laugh at you for being dedicated to what you want to do. This isn't high school or college anymore where people 'laugh' at you for wanting to excel in the real world.

Put that shit on your resume and while your at it, come up with a speech to back what you actually did (or what you want them to think you did) and make it as nerdy as possible. Hell, whenever I have interviews I can't wait to tell the interviewer books I'm reading & market news that I may have an opinion on. It shows drive & character.

Why would you not? Being "nerdy" is how you get a job. Trust me you're gonna need a lot more than "economics club member" on that resume to make it in this industry. What else would you put on a resume for business/finance? How many natty's you can pound with the frat bro's? Max bench? Dick size?

Maybe you could put how many girls you've fucked on there somewhere too

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
