I've done some research already, but was wondering you guys could help me compile a list of corporate lenders for the energy sector, specifically Houston. Obviously, there are the BBs, but I guess what i'm asking is if there are smaller, well funded companies in Houston that may go unnoticed at first glance. Thanks in advance

Amegy Bank does a lot of energy lending. Wells Fargo does a ton as well.
Outside of the BBs, WF seems to always come up when looking at energy commercial/corporate lending
You'll find JPM and WF at the top of most league tables concerning lending activities in the energy industry.
yes, i know jp morgan, wells fargo, but wanted to know of the smaller lenders in houston for energy....i dont have access to league tables
also for this sector of energy finance: do you pretty much have to start out as a credit analyst?
