Energy IB to Distressed Credit

Hey guys -- wondering how distressed funds look at energy bankers that do RX work. Given that there are lots of RX opportunities in O&G, do distressed funds like to hire energy bankers with that experience? I know funds can tend to avoid energy all together but just wanted to gauge other opinions.

Thanks
