Ensis Partners RX

Ensis has been hiring new junior and senior bankers - do any of you RX ppl think they will take business away from the PJT EVR HL MOEs of the world? Would you take it over any of these four? Ducera has done pretty well since being founded which is a similar story

Absolutely not lol, as the rest of the people on here say, congrats on Ensis!!! Be a little more subtle next time.

But TLDR, they’re not taking anything that matters. Top RX is a relationship cartel / basically a closed club, PJT, EVR, HL, A&M, Alix, FTI etc get called bc creditors, boards, and lawyers trust them when billions are on fire, nobody risks their reputation on a new logo. Also that trust wasn't built in days or even years. Ducera's an outlier, it worked because it was hyper-targeted and still doesn’t truly threaten the top tier, it just wins its spots. Ensis is, at best, a niche entrant fighting for scraps or situations where the big names are conflicted or too expensive. As of right now, personally wouldn't even sniff at Ensis over the four you mentioned.
