Evercore SA M&A to Secondaries FT

I’m an incoming Evercore SA23 in the Investment Banking group and have been really interested in secondaries and was wondering if it would be possible to move to the PCA group for FT instead?

This would he given I get a return of course but does anyone know how to approach this? Would really like to FT in PCA instead so would appreciate any insight. Thank you!

Yes, it is possible but you will need your staffer to put in a good word. I would reach out to a VP in PCA, and explain your situation/ interest. PCA has been hiring a lot, and since you are already internal next time a stop opens up (or if a SA doesn't convert to FT) then you can interview for the stop.

Edit: I did something similar to this, so let me know if you want to DM.
