Feeling Frustrated w/ the SIE

Hi All,

So I got the knoppman materials earlier this year from my firm. I have been trying to study as much as I can but it is hard to juggle it with my school work, personal matters, and my job. I'm getting around 65% on the last two exams I've taken and I feel frustrated. I hate standardized tests, and it just feels like information overload because even though I understand the concepts it just asks so many random things within them and it feels impossible to know everything.

Has anyone dealt with feelings like this? I know I'm going to have to grind it out but it feels suffocating.

1) Reread the book. Everything makes sense the second time around (if you have time). Alternatively, reread your worst chapters.

2) Watch capital advantage on YouTube for his SIE videos. I’ve hired him for multiple 1v1 sessions for the 7 and he makes things make sense.

3) check out Brian lee from Test Geek (paid supplement) He offers great comprehensive courses that also help make things click.

4) Series 7 guru on YouTube also makes great content.

5) buy the Kaplan Qbank if you feel you’re seeing the same questions and want some different flavors.

Best of luck. It’s not a difficult exam if you put your head down and grind.

Dude I am following your advice and it seems to be working. Thank you!
