FIG SA —> FT Recruiting

I accepted an IB internship offer for next summer at a low-mid tier BB in their FIG group but I’m unsure about how much I would like the coverage.

The group is pretty strong and focuses on more EBITDA based sub-verticals like WM/AM and Fintech, but if I end up disliking it, how feasible would it be to lateral to a more generalist coverage or product group for ft?

Could I lateral to a comparable or better bank or would I have to move downstream?

Well I haven’t actually joined the industry yet hence why I’m asking but it’s really not that deep man

FIG SA here

FIG is very good at helping you place at pretty much any bank with headcount (either FIG or non FIG)

At least, that's my experience
