Finance Student Looking for Path

Hello WSO!
I'm a Finance major at a semi-target, and I have an internship where I work for a couple brokers at an independent firm. I am a bit older as i played some baseball and put off school for a couple years. I'm interested in IB and am wondering how banks would view this kind of internship, and whether or not I should focus on getting another. I am on the west coast so NY is kind of out of the question right now. Are smaller boutique banks worth it or should I look to a summer internship at a BB next year?
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome! If I were you, I'd find a different forum to place this question. It will get a lot more looks elsewhere.
