Financial Edge still used among banks?

I read on the forum from years ago that people were being trained at their banks using FinancialEdge or TTS. I'm curious if this is still the case, or if there is a new resource online which is offering training now? I'm planning on doing Financial Edge as someone who is attempting to transition into the industry from Tech with no financial background as a way to kind of get rolling on some of the skills needed.

I've also seen a lot of praise about the IB book by Rosenbaum and have acquired that as well to read through, along with some accounting books to help me with understanding.

Thanks for the info! I don't intend to become proficient enough to impress anyone with just taking the "micro-degree" on FinancialEdge, however I hope to use it as a way to show my an investment and interest towards finance from my unrelated background!

I'm the same commenter. I eventually bought the yearly access to FE; bear in mind that students get 50% discount which makes FE offer the most affordable compared with all alternatives. I started the IB path, but didn't do much due to other commitments. I think the videos I covered so far are decent, it starts with theory and accounting, and then you move up. To me it felt a bit like Finance for beginners module I completed at uni, but actually in the positive sense. The more advanced topics focus on DCFs and other things, with the subscription actually you get get access to most of their courses, so I think it's a good starting point. I'd buy it again for a year, and then cancel the subscription at the end of Y1 if you don't like it.
