Financial Sponsors Group Interview

Helloo, from your experience, is there anything not so obvious (i.e. not LBO & LevFin related) you should prepare for when going into an interview for a role in FSG? Thank you!

At what level?

At what type of firm?

Good ones I've seen a few times is having the Candidate explain how:

1. A PE firm is structured (GP and Lp structure)

2. How an investment team gets funds to deploy. Talk around the process and Investment Committee

3. How is a typical lbo structured? (Debt + Pref Equity + Ordinary + Sweet + Rollover). How do each of these get calculated at a high level.
