Forget the Path... Follow The Schedule to Success
Hoping to attend a semi / target next year and would like to hear what a typical week is like for those who "make it." More specifically, I'm interested in how a typical week of networking looks like. Sure, you won't need to network your tail off like you would if you were at a non-target, but it's still no walk in the park...
Can someone talk about how much networking they did each week? And if they could break it up? Did you set benchmarks? (Send 10 emails, make 10 cold calls, add 10 people on linkedin, attend 3 events -- pet week)
Had a life, got good grades, had fun with girls freshman/sophomore year
Started the “grind” march/April before junior year summer with networking. Sent around 5-10 emails every tuesday morning until landed offer
Sounds like you really were the cool kid. Did you go into the job search internship-less, or was it just student organizations on your resumé?
