FT 26 Recruitment

It's been hell. Networking doesn't really help that much. Limited spots for so many candidates. What's the best thing to do? Do we wait until the year's over and pray that M&A activity picks up and thus more jobs will open up? Analysts/Associates leaving after bonuses to free up positions for new grads? How do we even know when these open up? Please help

In the same boat. I've come to realize that there is no point in worrying coming from someone who didn't get a FT offer this summer. You try your best, make do with your opportunities and go get it and be the best. That's what I am doing, so good luck man, but there are plenty of forums on here regarding FT recruiting so look at those.

a thing ive been seeing is some FT interview spots were fluff, as in they interviewed ppl, rejected everyone, then posted an experienced an/asso position. almost as if trying to have the records to show HR they tried for a new grad but it didnt work out. happened at my EB and heard abt it happening at my friend's BB as well. anyone else see this happening

There’s been no postings or openings. Looks like boutiques are the only Option
