FT IB Analyst Start Dates
Curious to find out when incoming FT analyst start dates are, and if any banks have indicated if it will be pushed back or moved online. Going to a BB in NY and have been told start date will be in June.
Starting in nyc also. As of now start date is July 13 (same as before), and haven’t heard anything about virtual training. Things are “going on as planned” but I’d imagine there will be an update sent out soon announcing changes to training
Nothing from NYC BB either. Supposed to start early July as well. Strong possibility of virtual training. Don't see banks brining kids in from all over world and cramping us all on 1 floor for 6 weeks In early July..
No change yet at my EB in NYC. Expected start July 6th.
Expected 7/7 at Citi but training might be virtual - no update yet
the guy from knopman basically said that most banks are trying to bring everyone in but a virtual training is likely
JPM NYC is June 22 still
That's cycle 1, cycle 2 is penned in for July 27th (official start date 17th July but you don't have to come in until 27th)
Yeah true, only cycle 2- we have to show up for the series training though- no?
MM Chicago, start date is still set for August 3, which was the original date. Tried emailing HR to get an update and no one has responded (nice).
Start date has been pushed back to "early fall" (original was July).

It's for a well known MM in NYC. Also of interest (perhaps): we will be paid from when we actually start training, not from the originally planned start date.
Just wanted to add: this delay applies to all locations for the firm.
