FT recruiting questions

What is the process for FT recruiting like? I am from a target (HWP) working at an EB this upcoming summer on the west coast. Undecided on future plans, depends on how this summer goes. Can’t know for certain but plan to work my butt off for the return offer, think the rate is very high. Not opposed to staying in banking, but if I decide banking is not for me long term I’d like to recruit elsewhere FT to maximize future opportunities (MF PE out of undergrad, other banks/groups with stronger exits, open to NY). When does the FT recruiting timeline start, how exactly does it work, is it hard going from West to east coast, and when should I start networking should I choose to recruit? Thanks WSO!
