Generalist Experience Vs. Industry or Product Specific Groups
Haven't seen a great thread comparing the Generalist experience as an IB Analyst compared to being put in a specific group. Any thoughts from those who've experienced being in a generalist role, and aspects you've thought was great about it? Broader experience? More bullshit work when covering multiple industries? Exit Opps? Boutique experience vs MM vs BB? Open to any way this thread goes...
