Getting up to speed on legal skills

Currently an A1 on a PC team, I’m surprised about the emphasis on the legal side of the work. Anyone have any tips on quickly picking up the legal knowledge/skills relevant i.e. understanding of corporate structures, term sheet reviews, contract law (covenants review) etc. we usually farm this stuff out to lawyers but for me right now it sounds like they’re speaking another language right now.
