Did anyone else interview for Goldman's summer analyst positions yesterday? I believe it was all non-core students.
There were about 75 of us who interviewed in the first round, but only 3-4 even got asked back for the afternoon interviews (I know 3 of them were girls). Does anyone have any idea why GS would even bother to pay for the flights / hotels?

So annoying, I was there as well. They told us they would get back to us regarding out application by the end of the week, which I assume means no. I felt so solid about my interview, and really don't see what I could have done differently.
Sources? I think there were 4 slots for in the morning so ~30-40 in total. Are you sure only 3-4 got asked back?
We were all together in the cafeteria. Maybe more than 4 but definitely less than 10.
