Goldman CEO DJing at Lollapalooza???

Anybody else bothered by Solomon messing around making music and DJing while he grinds his analysts into the ground?

Especially after the survey from the Goldman analysts came out last year and he’s been quoted saying he’s irritated by “relaxing banking juniors” and gets pissed if he sees them out to lunch instead of eating at their desk (keep in mind he is also out to lunch).

Apologies for the massive run on sentence but I needed to vent.

Am I crazy for feeling this way or what are other peoples thoughts?

Yeah I get it. Like lead from the front right dude. But also like he’s been in that position and the banking hierarchy is kinda that way; you do the grunt work, long hours, then you can be DJ Sol

I think you meant to say military, not Army, for Army is but one branch and it ain't the same branch as the Marine Corps. And yes, generally most branches have quite hefty budgets, but the Marine Corps' is significantly smaller and it is also a significantly smaller force (though not less technologically equiped) because it has a very specialized mandate. This usually translates in a culture of always doing more with less.

>In GS's case, not only did their MO budgets suck, but so did their pay and expected effort and time commitment for thay pay.

Guys been in investment banking for like three decades now. Do you think he should be turning comments?
