Goldman sachs and transcripts

does Goldman Sachs ask for transcripts for a lateral hire with 2.5 years of work experience during the background check? Im asking becasue my gpa was low in undergrad but once is witched majors it went up to 3.0 the letter said not to provide transcripts if you cannot get them, however if the background team needs them they will get them. How much weight does a GPA have when it comes to a lateral coming in as an associate ? ? Do they even care? or do they just want to see if you are honest with ur gpa? I put my majors gpa in the profile on the career website as 3.0 ...
