TSS is a back-office position at JP, not IB or CB. Exit ops are probably marginal, similar jobs at other bulges or industry related work. Nothing PE or HF related if that is what you are asking.

No idea aout top 10 MBA. I'm sure it is possible with a strong undergrad.

actually TSS is a totally independent department of JPM, thus it is not a back-office or something. TSS has its own client base, mainly security firms and corporates that need treasury services, trade finances, custodian services and so on. You can find this info at the company website.

So I can't get the chance? No way round?

The situation is, I already have a MM IBD offer, and I really want to try JP Morgan. At the time I was applying, there was not a IBD analyst position yet. So I chose the TSS division.

So what can I do? Comments are much appreciated!

JPM's campus recruitment plan in my country didn't provide the IBD position this year. But I really want to join IBD.

And it turned out that JPM was recruiting IBD analysts from another source (an M&A competition).

So I am thinking, if I am honest in the interview by saying I prefer IBD at the end of the day(suppose I have a good performance in the interview), will they consider my personal interest?

What do you mean by that?

You can't switch from TSS to IBD. The two are different.
