gpa & transcripts

when a company asks for a transcript & a resume, should you still round your GPA to one digit even though the number on the transcript is 2 digits? or would the company consider those two numbers different and ding you automatically?

I thinking rounding up is understood. If you are concerned you might want to contact HR and just give them a heads up. Never can be to cautious I suppose.

Rounding is fine, as long as by "rounding up" you aren't rounding a 3.41 to a 3.5

Calling a 3.451 a 3.5 shouldn't cause too much trouble.

Rounding a 3.41 to 3.50 is going a bit too far...I would say if your GPA is 3.45 or above, then maybe.

Just be honest. You don't want to freak out once your employer starts doing background checks on you.
