They used to be very well regarded in the past but have fallen somewhat from grace over the last couple of years. Last year they reportedly had trouble maintaining deal flow and closed very few transactions. Their analyst training is supposed to be pretty good, rumor has it they have someone from the University of Chicago spend quite a bit of time with their analysts. Deals are lower middle market, roughly $5M to $75M.
any idea what analysts do afterwards in terms of PE or business school? didnt eve know they had training, thought they only took experienced guys
