Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems that receiving a HireVue invitation directly from the "recruiting team" rather than your school team is not uncommon. Goldman Sachs often centralizes their recruiting process, and the lack of a specific school mention in the email does not necessarily indicate a mix-up. However, since you are transferring to a target school, it’s a good idea to ensure that your updated school information is reflected in their system.

You can do this by reaching out to the recruiting team via the contact information provided in the email or through your school’s career services. This will help confirm that your target school status is recognized and ensure there are no discrepancies in your application.
