GS IB vs. GSAM
Goldman's resume drop is coming up soon at my school, I am planning on going back into B-school in a few years.
I was wondering on the selectivity of GSAM vs. the IBD at Goldman, IBD has got to be tougher but because AM hires less people every year I thought it might be close?
How about b-school adcom's view on each?
Thanks for the input
for SA?
yea for SA
Depends which GSAM group, but generally IBD is more selective
Drop your resume into both - GS tends to have separate HR functions so applying to several areas won't hurt you.
This. From my experience you can apply and interview for multiple positions.
However, i thought on goldman's website application you can only upload 1 cover letter so you can only gear it toward one division?
Which gsam group is the most competitive/prestigious?
GSAM is great.
