GS NR vs GS Industrials
Hey guys I just went to sell day and really liked both groups. If anyone was in a similar boat I would love to hear some thoughts and decisions making process. Thanks!
What are your goals? Long term banking? PE? Do you have a particular interest in either sector? Both groups are top on the street in their industry, more info would help

Don't really have particular goals -- open to both PE and industry long term. Both sectors seem interesting content-wise

Industrials is a brutal lifestyle but has had better exit opps
NR is also known for being brutal but very strong group. Know 4 associates in the group and all sharp.

go with whatever you are more interested in. fit with the group is also important - if you have the chance, try meeting seniors from both groups to see how you would fit in with team.
