GS Office Transfer

Hi all - I’m applying to GS NYC for a position on their in-house legal team. Just wondering if anyone has insight into how easy/difficult it would be to change offices down the road assuming 1) the primary team would still be in NYC, 2) this is not a front office role and 3) it’s at the VP level. Put another way, I’d be asking to stay within my role but work from a different office. There’s a small city (same time zone) with a GS office and being able to move there in a year or two would be very attractive. Will certainly ask the question during the interview but any help is appreciated as I’m evaluating different options. Thanks!
