Had a classic SPD a couple of months ago at this point and was emailed I’m on the waitlist - anyone know someone’s who’s ever gotten off it?

Wtf is even waitlist for jobs?
(I know what it is and congratulations for reaching this point, however it’s ridiculous to me)!
No I’m in the same boat. it’s clipped
Not for the same position, but if I did the HV and my portal still says 'HV Completed', does that mean I'm waitlisted? For other positions I applied to, it says 'application rejected' but I still haven't gotten the rejection update yet for one of them.
At this point it seems all recruiting is done. Probably just never got moved to spd
I got off the waitlist. Stay connected to the staffer/bum and pray. Odds increase in August when sophomore summers get return offers and they go somewhere else.
